Carvalho Family Winery
The Carvalho family winemaking tradition began more than 100 years ago in the villages and vineyards of Portugal. Today, Carvalho Family Wines continues that tradition as an ultra-premium winery. They are dedicated to the production of small-lot, handcrafted California wines. They pair an old world approach to winemaking with the best viticulture and enological tools available in the world today.
Heringer Estates
The Heringer Family has been farming in the Clarksburg Delta for more than 140 years, and family winemaker Michael W. Heringer is the sixth generation of Heringer’s to farm in the Clarksburg area.
The Heringer family has always believed in hard work, innovation and resourcefulness. Their award-winning wines reflect that commitment to quality. At this emerging winery, you’ll sample distinctive wines crafted from hand-selected grapes.
Todd Taylor Wines
Todd Taylor creates handmade, single-vineyard wines using traditional methods and aged to perfection in oak. Grapes are selected from vineyards that produce premium fruit for their specific varietal, including Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Syrah, Primitivo, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
French Hill
The French Hill Winery Tasting Room will delight both wine enthusiasts and non-drinkers alike. Owner Rod Ruthel is a professional artist/wine label designer, and the tasting room art, jewelry and gift items reflect his artistic influence. Specializing in Cal-Italia varietals, Ruthel sources grapes from the Sierra Foothills to make wines of distinction—Barbera, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Port. His wines consistently win top wine awards in major competitions. Production is very limited and only premium quality wines are offered for sale.
The Soloman Wine Company
At the Soloman Tasting Room, you’ll enjoy both the array of outstanding Solomon wines and the striking design of the room itself, which used to be the historic Murphys Volunteer Fire House. The Solomon Wine Company produces three brands: Muse wines feature a softer, fruit-forward style that is easy drinking; Garsa wines are more structured and richer while focusing on Mediterranean varietals; and Cloud 9 wines remain Soloman’s most sophisticated and complex offerings.
